Feature Deviations for 12/10/07
Wow!MY BIRTHDAY!
News & Notes:
(1) Today is my birthday, kids. Where my presents at? It's going to be so weird tomorrow when the Birthday Badge on this journal reads: "Jeannie's birthday is in 364 days".
(2) In the not-so-distant future, I will be selling (2) two framed 16x20 pieces of my work online (either here or on eBay). I have (1) one each of "The End" and "One Last Cigarette". If anyone is interested, drop me a private Note and I'll discuss these items with you before I offer them to the general public. Both pieces are framed in simple black, without mattes. I also have (1) one 16x20 print (unframed) of "The End" that I'd be interested in selling.
(3) Made some little friends while searching for a Christmas tree earlier today. Who knew I could attract the attention of a 12 year-old?
(4) I just received word today that my first ever solo photography exhibition will be Sunday, January 13th from 2:30PM-4:00PM at the North Shore Public Library in Shoreham, New York. For anyone on Long Island/NYC that's coming, Note me for directions. I'm very geeked about this, and trying to work a post-party at my house.
It Should Be About Love
No matter what Holiday you are celebrating this time of year, please remember that it should be about love. I am faced everyday with an individual that believes that "Merry Christmas" is a superior greeting to "Happy Holidays". But isn't "Happy Holidays" just a manner of showing respect to ALL cultures and religions? I believe it is. So instead of arguing semantics, just practice love.
