So much has gone on this week, it’s hard to wrap little my mind around it all. Let me see if I can do so, and update everyone who’s reading . . .


(1) I received the official word that I will be a part of “The End”, a group art exhibition taking place in Port Jervis, NY with opening night just weeks away. Unfortunately, I will not be in physical attendance for the 12/13 opening night, but anyone in the area should definitely go and check it out. I believe all of the art will be available for purchase, so you’ll have your shot at a framed print of…The End. Fitting, no?

(2) Voting for JPG Mag’s Issue #20 ends as of 12/09, so this is my last chance at getting the following three images noticed. If you have a few spare minutes to chime in with a vote, it’s much appreciated. If not, that’s okay too- just think happy thoughts for me, wouldja?

(3) Hey, my birthday is arriving in less than 20 days! It’s my big 3-0! So who’s coming to my party and bringing a bouncy castle and cotton candy maker?


(4) In honor of the past year, starting Dec. 1st, I will be adding a feature of some of the year’s best (well, in my opinion!) works that have been featured here in this journal over the months. One last hoorah before we kiss it all goodbye and make 2009 even bigger and better. Watch for it!


(5) I am finishing up the final touches on my first book, “Images & Words”, which will be available for purchase in the New Year. More info to follow in January, but for now, pre-Holidays, no one has a spare dollar to spend on that kind of stuff, right? So let’s start 2009 off with a Jeannie Bang! (Peanut gallery….go for it!)


(6) And before I bow out for the week, I wanted to take a second to ask you to visit a good friend of mine and show her some love. Erica is an amazing young woman and an extraordinary fiction writer who is promoting her first novel, Kismet: Spirit Diviner, the first book in a paranormal adventure series. (7) One last important note that I just got in my In-Box: If ANYONE in the Montclair area of New Jersey is looking to adopt a little one for the holidays, PAWS (an animal shelter in that local vicinity) is closing in December and is desperately searching for good homes for all of their current animals. There are currently 140 cats and 30 dogs that are homeless once the shelter closes its doors. Even if you have to drive a little distance to adopt, it’s a great GREAT way to show someone how much you love them . . . to give them the gift of a little life!
