HAPPY 2009, EVERYONE!


Truthfully, my 2009 has started off very slowly this year. My best friend came to spend New Year's Eve and a few days with me, and then as soon as she left I got this terrible cold/sinus thing that is hanging on and hanging on. So mostly I've been and

(1) A few weeks ago, I was briefly discussing New Year's Resolutions (particularly artistic ones) with Johnston @ , and I had said that I was going to post a list of my goals for 2009. Well, maybe not. But more or less, my goals are to simply continue to make images that I am happy with and to grow and learn as an artist; pursue more models for a more eclectic array of shoots; and to work harder at promoting myself. I have a bunch of personal projects and goals that I will begin chipping away at very soon! Also, as soon as I can financially afford to do so, I plan to host some contests here on dA with prizes that include subscriptions, prints, etc.


(2) Yes, I Am The Underdog will return for 2009! I'm looking to post the first feature within the next 1-2 weeks, so watch for that.

(3) I promise to be much better about updating my STOCK ACCOUNT this year. Check that out @ [link]


(4) There are so many other surprises that I have in store for everyone this year, but unfortunately I'm starting off rather slowly. Not only have I been sick, but my father will be having surgery on 1/19. So if everyone can say a little prayer for his speedy recovery, I'd really appreciate that. Once he is back home and kicking and screaming, I think I'll feel 100% and be able to resume maximum productivity. But for now, it goes slowly . . .
