Yesterday was my annual trip to Warped Tour and I am sunburnt, achey, and high on great music!




(1) Daily Deviations. It really does feel amazing to get attention for an artist who deserves it. I hope everyone out there is suggesting, suggesting, suggesting. I am still working on a How-To piece, expect it soon!

(3) Features. This week, I've continued to work my way through deviations and comments that are awaiting my viewing. I'm currently at just under 3K deviations and approx. 300 comments left to respond to. Phew! During this process, I have discovered some LOVELY features of my work!

(4) Sifting That Mail. As I mentioned briefly above, I am getting closer and closer to FINALLY catching up with ALL of my account viewings and messages. Unfortuantely, I’m sorry to say that any comments/replies that came before October of 2008 are gone. I am just so backlogged that I couldn’t reply to every single thing, but I’m doing my best to reply to anything current. If for some reason you sent a question and are still awaiting a response, please try resending it- as I may have lost it in the massive pile. Sorry!



(5) Deviation of the Day. Unfortunately, as I was without a computer on and off for over a week-and-a-half, I fell terribly behind on DOTDs. This lead me to consider very seriously whether I'd be able to keep up the feature, and honestly, I just don't have it in me to dedicate the time to keep it running indefinitely. So sadly, there will be no more DOTDs. However, I do have a new feature in-the-works with a friend I adore. So stay tuned for details on that!



(6) Back To The Future. I always find it tacky when artists author a huge feature of other people's works and then stick in 30 of their newest deviations. Clearly if you're reading this, you probably have some kind of idea of what my latest works look like, right? Of course, I do still love to promote my own work , so let's compromise. Each week in this journal, I'm going to toss out ONE piece of my art that's over one year old. This way, we can all look back in time and laugh at how horrible my technique was; smile at a piece that is still a gem; or simply reminisce about a past model that we all adored. So let's roll!
