Jeannie's News & Notes:



The past two weeks have just flown past me in a gigantic blur! I had my friend Karyn in town for a visit, which was absolutely fantabulous but seemingly far too quick. We laughed ourselves hysterical and I lost my voice! I also got some exciting news about that Newsday photography contest, and then to top it all off I won $150 at the casino!

I’m actually re-packing as we speak to hit the road yet again and go visit my grandparents in the Land of Pennsyltucky, so let me quit the delay and get right to all the news.







(1) Exciting News! I DID IT!!! I found out a week ago that I was one of 15 winners (out of 3,000+ entries! ) in the Newsday “Act2” Photography Contest. Such a great honor and kind of amusing to see my photograph of an abandoned asylum published alongside beach scenes and babies! Check it out:

(3) Contest. Contest. I had hoped to get the winners posted before I left on my first mini-vacation, but time didn’t allow. Sorry about that! To all those that have been patiently awaiting the results, thank you for that patience! I hope to have everything published and the winner alerted by early next week.

And that is all for this week, my little devotees. I have to go finish my laundry and pack for trip numero dos. When I return, I hope to work in some new photoshoots over the next few weeks. Then Halloween, then Mom's birthday, then the Holidays . . . And it all starts anew in 2010!
